All students wishing to enrol in the Flight One School of Engineering’s funded Certificate II in Aeroskills delivered at our Adelaide Airport workshop are required to have undertaken immersive activities in an aircraft maintenance environment, or similar related experience. If you haven’t had any experience in an aircraft maintenance work environment, we recommend that you attend a Come and Try Day. These events are designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the course, delivery location, outcomes and the nature of the training / work environment to ensure that students are well informed before enrolling. For safety reasons, and to control student numbers, only students who have registered will be permitted to enter the event. A Registration Receipt will be issued.
Time: Come and Try Days run from 9:00 in the morning through to about 2:00 in the afternoon. We do not provide transport, so please discuss logistics with your school and parents. Parents are welcome to stay, or drop off / pick up.
Location: Flight One School of Engineering, 17 James Schofield Drive, Adelaide Airport SA 5950 (Google Map Link >>)
Food: A sausage sizzle lunch and refreshments will be available but students are also welcome to bring their own food and drinks if they prefer.
About: During this event, you will have the chance to explore our state-of-the-art facilities, interact with experienced instructors, and participate in hands-on activities that mimic the real-world training of an aircraft engineer. This immersive experience is an excellent way to gain insight into the skills and knowledge required in this exciting field.
